What people ask before they start.
How much does it cost?
Free costs nothing (up to 300 attendees and 20 speakers) with a 12% fee on paid deals. Pro is $149 per event with 8%, Custom from $1,500 with 5%.
When does the platform take a fee?
Only when a sponsor, partner, media outlet or influencer closes a paid deal through the platform: at least $50 per deal, never more than the amount. Barter deals carry no fee.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Custom. On Free the site lives on a BuildAConf subdomain.
Can I sell paid tickets?
Free registration with QR tickets is live today; paid ticket checkout is coming soon. Meanwhile you can link your external ticketing.
Can my team work with me?
Yes. Invite co-organizers (everything except the team, the domain and deleting the event) and reviewers (score applications only).
